Near Tet, Vietnamese trade deficit

According to the General Department of Customs, the first 15 days in November the country exported 10.632 USD billion. In the first half of November, there were 3 groups of export goods worth 1 USD billion or more: telephones reached 2.398 USD billion; computers, electronic products and components reached 1.276 USD billion; textiles and garments reached 1.212 billion USD.
Until November 15, the country had 5 export commodities worth 10 USD billion or more, including: telephones reached 43.832 USD billion; textiles and garments reached 26,376 billion; computers, electronic products and components reached $ 25.693 billion; machinery, equipment, spare parts reached 14.387 USD billion; Footwear reached $ 13.842 billion. Particularly, the five groups of "tens of billions of dollars" reached 124.13 USD billion, occupied 58.4% the total import turnover of the country. In the import dimension, total value reached 11.046 USD billion. In the field of import, automobile products are continuing to show signs of prosperity with 6,610 vehicles, which have total turnover that reached 132.557 USD million. The accumulated from the beginning of 2018, imported cars reached 59,261 vehicles, total turnover was 1,317 USD billion. Thus, in the first 15 days of November, the country's trade surplus was 414 USD million. However, the accumulated from the beginning of the year to 15/11, the country still surpassed 6.8 USD billion (exports 212.634 USD billion, imports 205.812 USD billion) - the highest result in recent years.

With total import and export turnover reaching nearly 418.5 USD billion, the average daily turnover of the country reached nearly 1.33 USD billion. With the current average turnover, it is likely that the total import and export turnover in 2018 will set a record number of more 485 USD billion, up to about 60 USD billion compared to 2017.
