VCN- The Customs Branch of Nam Can International Border Gate (Nghe An Customs Department) cooperated with the Ky Son district police to arrest a man for carrying 1,000 tablets of amphetamine.

On the evening of May 4, at Dua village, Luong Minh commune, Tuong Duong district, Nghe An province, the authorities arrested Ngan Van Mao, born in 1970, residing in Dua village, Luong Minh commune,Tuong Duong district, Nghe An province for narcoticstrafficking.

At the scene, the authorities seized five plastic bags weighed 110.62 grams with1,000 pink tablets suspected of being amphetamine.

At the head office of the authorities, the offender claimed to buy the drugs from an unknown man to resell them for profit.
