Ministry of Finance continues to develop solutions to support people and businesses

Considering the proposal of the Ministry of Finance to propose some solutions of revenue collection in 2021 to support businesses and people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai agreed to add further solutions.
The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Finance to work with the Ministry of Justice and relevant ministries and agencies, based on the resolution of the National Assembly at the first session of the XV term, to urgently finalise the proposal on appropriate legal documents with the simplified procedure for further solutions to support people and businesses affected by the pandemic.
In particular, it is necessary to carefully review and evaluate the solutions of support policy that have been implemented recently and on that basis, determine the need to adjust and supplement beneficiaries and policy contents, implementation time limit, etc. to ensure the highest effectiveness of policies, timely support for people and businesses, and at the same time, pay attention to get the opinions of those affected by the policy.
The Deputy Prime Minister also requested ministries and agencies to closely work with the Ministry of Finance to implement and complete the above tasks.
Previously, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai signed Decision No. 23/2021/QD-TTg stipulating the implementation of policies to support employees and employers facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic, including reducing the insurance premium for occupational accidents and diseases; support to improve vocational skills to maintain jobs for workers, and support employees to take unpaid leave.
