The Investment Customs Branch - HCM City Customs Department issued three decisions to terminate decisions on forcing to stop carrying out customs procedures for import-export goods of three enterprises owing tax debt.

After the Investment Customs Branch issued a decision on tax enforcement on July 14, 2021, Mega Chemical Co., Ltd. (tax code 0314578722, address: 68 Nguyen Hue, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, HCM City) has fully paid over VND 3.55 billion into the state budget; Truong Khai Investment Development Company Limited (tax code 0313705294, address: 1st Floor, Packsirnex Building, 52 Dong Du, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, HCM City) fully paid more than VND 300 million to the State budget. The Investment Customs Branch has issued decisions to terminate the enforcement decision for those two firms.

Previously, the Investment Customs Branch also issued a decision to terminate Decision No. 954/QD-DT dated June 2, 2021 on the enforcement of administrative decisions on tax administration by stopping customs procedure for import-export goods of Woogwang Vina Co., Ltd., (tax code 0302871807, address: Lot B25-B26, road B3, Industrial - Small handicraft industry, Xuan Thoi Son commune, District Hoc Mon, HCM City). The reason is that this company fully paid VND 172 million of overdue tax debt to the State budget.

There are many cases that enterprises owing domestic tax debt are intentionally delaying to pay taxes, are being applied coercive measures of stopping carrying out customs procedures for import and export goods requested by the HCM City Tax Department.
