On the morning of October 6, President Tran Dai Quang hosted an official welcome ceremony for his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani at Hanoi-based Presidential Palace.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is on a three-day State-level visit to Vietnam at the invitation of Vietnamese State leader Tran Dai Quang.

Both state leaders inspect the guard of honour.

During the trip, the two leaders will compare notes on a score of measures to bolster collaboration in trade, investment, tourism and agriculture.

The two presidents hold talks immediately after the welcome ceremony.
