HCMC: Opening 25 supporting points for PIT finalization

VCN- From March 18 to April 1, 2019, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) Tax Department will open 25 supporting points for taxpayers who are individuals submitting personal income tax (PIT) finalization document to the tax agency.

A supporting point for tax finalization at HCMC Tax Department

According to the HCMC Tax Department, this program will take place from March 18 to April 1, 2019 (the deadline for submission of the 2018 PIT finalization documents, except for documents with requests for tax refund) and simultaneously will be deployed at 25 points at the head office of the Tax Department and district tax branches.

In addition to regular support, HCMC Tax Department has strengthened its support to the submitters through information channels such as social networks and the Tax Department's website: tphcm.gdt.gov.vn , hcmtax.gov.vn.

25 points will be equipped with facilities (computers, printers, etc.) for taxpayers to make tax finalization. At the same time, taxpayers are supported for online declaration at the website: http://thuedientu.gov.vn, so that they themselves could make and print the declaration form, and send the declaration file to the tax agency.

Along with that, HCMC Tax Department has coordinated with the HCMC Tax Agent Club, and directly provides free support at the tax agencies' points, increasing the number of support desks of tax agents.

In addition, the propaganda division of the Tax Agency Department shall receive and answers questions of taxpayers through regular channels such as telephones, direct answers, written replies and so on.

According to the leader of HCMC Tax Department, this year, the unit compiled guidance documents on tax finalization in Vietnamese and English for taxpayers (via the Tax Department's website: tphcm.gdt.gov.vn; the Tax Department’s fanpage, emails to the organization paying income and directly sending to taxpayers). In the peak month of tax finalization (March 2019), HCMC Tax Department in coordination with Investment & Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC) held a dialogue with taxpayers on the tax finalization in 2018 to remove and answer immediately arising problems for businesses and people.
