VCN – HCM City Tax Department is expanding electronic invoicing with the identification code system of the Tax authority for enterprises in areas for increasing the number of electronic invoices.

In the first four months of 2018, the number of invoices that were sent to get identification codes was 264,482, with a total revenue of more than 4,266 billion VND, the total value of tax that has been verified is 376 billion VND, an increase of nearly 16% compared to the same period in 2017. Through this, reducing administrative procedures and protecting against the possibility of enterprises counterfeiting state invoices.

According to HCM City Tax Department, there are 221,804 enterprises operating in Ho Chi Minh City.

By the end of April, the number of enterprises registered for electronic tax payment reached 96.72% compared to operating enterprises. In particular, the number of business accounts registered successfully at commercial banks reached 93.7% of the total number of operating enterprises; The number of enterprises that have paid taxes by electronic tax payment is 87.24% of the total number of operating enterprises.
