Due to the unpredictable and complex developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, Hanoi Tax Department asks taxpayers to implement procedures via electronic methods or postal service to prevent infection and comply with Directive 17 of the local government.
Taxpayers must provide their name, address, e-mail address and mobile phone number when they submit dossiers via the postal service so the authority can contact them if necessary.
Taxpayers should also regularly visithanoi.gdt.gov.vn to get notifications from the tax authorities.
If taxpayers have to work with the tax authority in a case of necessary, they must comply with the State's regulations on disease prevention and control and the 5K message comprising khau trang (face masks), khu khuan (disinfection), khoang cach (distancing), khong tu tap (no gatherings), and khai bao y te (health declarations).
The General Department of Taxation issued a dispatch requesting departments to take measures for Covid-19 pandemic prevention.
Units must strictly control the entry and exit at the General Department of Taxation’s headquarters.
The top tax authority has suspended receiving guests and working directly with partner agencies (except in cases of urgent tasks approved by the leaders the General Department of Taxation).
It also requests departments instruct residents and businesses to pay taxes and work with the tax authority via the e-tax payment system and the tax authority’s portal.
