Hanoi: Determine to launch effectively e-invoice initialized from cash register
Hanoi Tax Department speeded up the implementation of e-invoice initiated from the cash register. |
Hanoi is one of three localities selected by the Ministry of Finance to implement phase 1, whereby 100% of enterprises and business households in management areas operating in fields directly related to transactions with consumers use electronic invoices from cash registers, mainly focusing on restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, and jewelry company.
Currently, Hanoi Tax Department has reviewed 5,678 enterprises and business households subject to implementation. In the coming time, the unit will continue to review more subjects following the regulations. In particular, focusing on retailers operating business chains such as restaurants, hotels, cafes, and medicines.
According to Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Tax Department, currently, taxpayers are afraid that the conversion of e-invoices created from cash registers will increase the cost of equipment and software because some units have not yet met the ability to connect to the software of the tax authorities. Therefore, psychological detachment is necessary at this time.
Earlier, Hanoi Tax Department also held a training conference, inviting enterprises, business households and 12 solution providers to connect parties and guide some related content.
At this point, Hanoi Tax Department will urgently build a legal framework by reporting and advising the People's Committee to issue documents to implement e-invoices from cash registers. At the same time, the unit also promotes disseminating the meaning and benefits of this type of invoice. It not only creates convenience for enterprises and business households, but buyers (direct consumers) can also enjoy clear benefits, creating equality between businesses and taxpayers.
Hanoi Tax Department has also requested the affiliated units to review a complete list of taxpayers who can use the e-invoice with the tax authority's code created from the cash register.
On that basis, making plans and assigning targets to each specialized division, tax department, each team, and each tax officer to strengthen the guidance, support and urge taxpayers belonging to the group that can deploy e-invoices initiated from the cash register under the list; striving to fulfill the tasks assigned by Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Taxation.
