Hanoi Customs presided over the successful dismantling of 3 major drug cases

At the conference, the representative of the Drug Case Committee informed about the process of fighting and solving the case. From the beginning of April 2021, through the work of collecting and grasping the news, the Hanoi Customs Department received much news about many criminal lines transporting drugs from the Netherlands to Hanoi, Vietnam by road and by air through Noi Bai international airport.

Hanoi Customs Department proactively and promptly established a special case with secret number HC 421, hosted and coordinated with Drug Crime Investigation Police Department - Ministry of Public Security; Northern Region Anti-Smuggling Control Team (Team 5), Southern Region Anti-Smuggling Control Team (Team 6) - Anti-Smuggling Investigation Department - General Department of Vietnam Customs.

During the process of tracking and detecting, the competent forces discovered 13 packages from the Netherlands which sent to some provinces with suspicious signs.

Under the direction of the leaders of the Hanoi Customs Department, the leaders of the C04 Department, the Ministry of Public Security, the HC 421 Case Committee focused on mobilizing forces, fighting, and successfully solving the case in April 2021.

In the process of investigating and solving the case, from April 9, 2021, to April 27, 2021, the competent forces concentrated on seizing a very large volume of synthetic drugs (MDMA) and Ketamine (about 127,5 kg); arrested and detained 16 subjects, dismantled 08 drug transport lines (Hanoi 1 case on April 9, 2021; Hai Duong 1 case on April 10, 2021; Binh Duong 2 cases on April 13, 2021; Ho Chi Minh City 4 cases on April 13-14, 2021).
