Guidance for checking goods labelling deposited in bonded warehouses

According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs, based on the Commercial Law 2005; Decree 08/2015/ND-CP dated January 21, 2015 of the Government regarding customs procedures, inspection, supervision and customs control (amended and supplemented in Decree 59/2018/ND-CP dated April 20, 2018) and Decree 43/2017/ND-CP dated April 14, 2017 of the Government on labelling of goods, goods imported from aboard and deposited in bonded warehouses for export to third countries are not subject to adjustment scope of Decree 43/2017/ND-CP.
For goods imported from abroad and deposited to bonded warehouses for export to a third country, Customs authority would conduct inspections and compare the contents shown on the goods label when exported with the declaration information and the content shown on the label of goods imported from abroad and deposited in bonded warehouses. In case of detecting acts of fraudulent origin of goods, illegal transshipment or counterfeit goods, it would be handled in accordance with regulations.
Regarding customs supervision of bonded warehouses, the General Department of Vietnam Customs instructed implementation of Article 87 of Decree No. 08/2015/ND-CP and relevant guiding documents in accordance with regulations.
