Research and correct customs supervision processes at international airports

VCN - To continue to improve professional processes related to customs inspection and supervision, General Department of Vietnam Customs has drafted a decision to amend Decision No. 3280/QD-TCHQ dated September 30, 2016 on the inspection and supervision process for luggage of people on exit and entry; customs supervision activities at international airports.

According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs, amending Decision No. 3280/QD-TCHQ is aimed at ensuring state management of customs for luggage of people on exit and entry, avoiding smuggling and illegal transportation of goods, currency, and drugs through air border gates.

It is known that currently the General Department of Vietnam Customs has completed the draft replacement decision and consulted with local customs units. The draft specifically stipulates customs inspection and supervision procedures at international airports and domestic airports with international flights.

In addition, the General Department of Vietnam Customs also continues to improve professional processes related to customs inspection and supervision such as draft Decision on amending and supplementing Decision No. 1966/QD-TCHQ July 10, 2015 on promulgation of Customs procedures for export and import goods; the decision to replace Decision No. 3272/QD-TCHQ dated November 24, 2020 about regulations on inspection of exported and imported goods using scanning machines...
