Dien Bien Customs seizes two bricks of heroin

VCN – The Anti-Drug Enforcement Team under Dien Bien Customs Department and other competent agencies has arrested three suspects in possession of two bricks of heroin, 191 tablets of synthetic drugs and one plastic bag of opium.

Dien Bien Customs seizes two bricks of heroin

Three suspects were arrested on May 27 by Customs

On May 27, the Police of Song Ma District of Son La province coordinated with Son La Police Department on drug-related crimes. Chieng Khuong Border Guard Station and the Anti-Drug Enforcement Team arrested Nguyen Dinh Tien, 31 for illegally transporting two bricks of heroin, 191 tablets of synthetic drugs and one plastic bag of opium.

Expanding the investigation, the competent forces arrested two more suspects, namely Lo Van Thanh, 28, and Hoang Bao Viet, 20 residing in Song Ma District.

Earlier, on May 26, Song Ma district police, in collaboration with Sop Cop District police, arrested two suspects, Lo Van Nam and Quang Ngoc Chau.

The competent forces seized 36,000 tablets of synthetic drugs.

The cases are being further investigated.
