Binh Phuoc Border Defense Force: Seizing 27kg of firecrackers cross border

At 1:50PM, on 21/11, at Village 6, Thien Hung commune, Bu Dop district, Binh Phuoc province, Bu Dop Border Station in collaboration with the Special Force on Drug and Crime Prevention, Binh Phuoc Border Defense Force, Bu Dop Police, Criminal Police Department of Binh Phuoc province arrested Le Van Thien (lives in Village 7, Thien Hung commune, Bu Dop district) while was transporting firecrackers across the border.

At the scene, the competent forces discovered 30 packs of firecrackers with a total weight of 14 kilograms. Through quickly interrogating, Thien claimed that he bought firecrackers from Cambodia and transported to Vietnam for earning profits.

According to Thien’s statement, this was the 4th time he transported firecrackers from Cambodia to Vietnam for sale. Then, after conducting an inspection at his home, the competent forces discovered more than 13 kilograms of firecrackers.

Currently, the competent forces have taken the testimony and completed the case dossier in accordance with regulation.
