Announcement of the 1000 companies paying the largest amount of company income tax in Vietnam 2016

According to statistics of the V1000 ranking, the total tax that V1000 enterprises contributed to the State budget is more than 90 trillion vnd, an increase of approximately 11.87% over 2015 and approximately 10.41% of the total revenue of the State budget in 2015. In particular, the top 100 companies of the ranking have contributed nearly 75% of the total ranking company income tax.
In the V1000 rankings 2016, there are familiar names that again appear at the top of the list such as Petro Vietnam, Viettel Mobile, Viettel, Vietnam Gas Corporation, Honda Vietnam, etc.
Additionally, in the top 10, there are three state banks: Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam, Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam. Viet Nam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk) was also in the top 5.
In the framework of the preparation of the V1000 - Top 1000 businesses paying CIT in Vietnam 2016, the Vietnam Report also conducted surveys, consultation and responses from representative enterprises over 5 years in order to collect feedback of the companies before reforming the tax service.
Moreover, this year also marks the 7th consecutive year of announcing the V1000 rankings. Hence, the organizer announced the "Top 50 excellent Businesses ", including excellent businesses in paying tax and continuous presence in the Top 1000 enterprises pay CIT in Vietnam in the last 5-years.
The announcement ceremony of V1000 2016 and release of the Annual Report 2016 Outlook Tax Vietnam is expected to be held on 25th November 2016 at the National Convention Centre in Hanoi.
