VCN- According to statistics of the General Department of Vietnam Customs, the number of imported cars in July was 10,800 units, an increase of 25.1% but only worth $US 208 million, a decrease of 16% because the average unit price of imported automobiles dropped by 32.9% compared to the previous month.

The value of imported cars in the first 7 months of 2016 is $US 1.42 billion, a decrease of 17.3% compared to the same period last year.

From the beginning of 2016 to July 2016, completely built-up (CBU) cars imported to Vietnam were 60,600 units, a decrease of 5.9%, worth $US 1.42 billion, a decrease of 17.3% compared to the same period last year.
