According to the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department, a shipment of 10 containers of imported wood has arrived at Phuoc Long ICD 3 port (Thu Duc - Ho Chi Minh City) for many months, but the owner did not come to complete procedures to receive the goods.
According to the reporter's research, the above shipment was sent by an overseas company to the recipient a company in Nhi Xuan Industrial Park, Ho Chi Minh City.
Saigon Port Area IV Customs Branch said that the above shipment has been over 90 days since the date the goods arrived at the border gate, so the branch has notified relevant organizations and individuals to find the owner.
According to the provisions of Clause 3, Article 8 of Circular 203/2014/TT-BTC dated December 22, 2014, of the Ministry of Finance: "The time limit to receive the goods is 60 days from the date of the first notification. "

If beyond the time limit, the recipient does not come to complete customs procedures to receive goods, Saigon Port Area IV Customs Branch will handle the shipments according to the provisions of Circular No. 203. /2014/TT-BTC dated December 22, 2014, and Circular No. 57/2018/TT-BTC dated July 5, 2018, of the Ministry of Finance.
