The cooperation between the Vietnamese and Kazakhstani legislatures has been constantly developed, both bilaterally and multilaterally, as evidenced by the frequent exchange of high-level delegations from parliamentary committees.

Ty said he hopes that the Nur Otan Party leaders will back the enhancement of closer and effective collaboration between the two countries’ legislative bodies.

In reply, K.B. Zhumasev described Vietnam as an important partner of Kazakhstan in the Southeast Asian region in terms of economics and politics.

As both nations share a lot of similarities, thus enabling them to further step up cooperation and sharing of experience in lawmaking, supervision and deciding on major national issues, he noted.
