VCN- The specialized force for drug prevention and control under the Quang Tri Customs Department has coordinated to arrest a smuggler with 6,000 synthetic drugs.

On August 17, 2021, the specialized force in the fight against the CT-1H project, the Drug Prevention and Control Team under the Quang Tri Customs Department and the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (PC04) under the Provincial Police Quang Tri co-chaired and coordinated with Lao Bao Border Gate Customs Branch, Lao Bao Town Police (Huong Hoa District Public Security), Task Force on Drugs and Crime Prevention (Quang Tri Border Guard) caught the smuggler whose name is Ho Van Anh, born in 1976 (permanent residence at 147 Thach Han, Ka Tup hamlet, Lao Bao town, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province) with the act of possessing illegal drugs.

The competent force confiscated material pieces of evidence, including 6,000 pills of synthetic drugs and a number of related objects.

The case has now been handled by PC04, criminal detention of Ho Van to expand the investigation.
