The US passes the UAE on largest consumption of Vietnamese telephones

The above result increased nearly $US 3 billion compared to the same period in 2015, equivalent to 10.7%. Although, in terms of proportion, telephones and accessories were not items of the highest growth rate, in terms of absolute value, with increased value of nearly $US 3 billion, these items were in the highest growth rate.

With increased value, telephones and accessories continued their position as the largest exporting items of the country, accounting for 19.7% of the Vietnam’s total export turnover. Regarding the export market, according to the updated information of the General Department of Custom until October, 2016, there have been 8 markets exporting Vietnamese telephones and accessories worth $US 1 billion and more.

Remarkably, the US has passed the United Arab Emirates (UAE – telephone exporting market No. 1 of Vietnam in past years) to become the largest telephone exporting market with a value of $US 3.47 billion.

The followed markets are UAE with value of $US 3.388 billion; Korea with value of $US 2.287billion and Austria with value of 1.718 billion.
