Techfest Vietnam 2019 officially got underway in Ha Long City in the northern province of Quang Ninh on December 4 with the event aiming to connect local innovative startups with the global startup ecosystem.

Aside from the involvement of over 200 potential startups, Techfest Vietnam 2019 also features the participation of approximately 200 investors from Vietnam and abroad, in addition to foreign investment funds, international experts, 150 major enterprises, economic groups, and start-up support organisations.

In order to organise the occasion, Techfest 2019 has been pided into 12 technology villages which vary according to sector, including travel, food, finance, education, agriculture, health, smart urban areas, startup support, in addition to several other sections which are showcasing products and services in similar fields.

The aim of this year’s event is to develop a shared network among the nation’s various innovative startup firms amid the regional and global ecosystem.
