The General Department of Taxation has publicised written questions of organisations and individuals on tax policies and written response by tax agencies at all levels in the section “Publication of written information”.

All written questions and written answers will be publicised on information about tax code; incoming number, document symbol; extract content; date and unit of receiving and answering the written questions, and attaching the written questions in PDF format.

Regarding the time limit for publication, the General Department of Taxation stipulates that regarding written questions, after receiving questions, within a working day or at the early morning of the next working day, the receiving unit must propose to update these written questions to the website and send to the handling unit. When the written questions are sent to a handling unit, they will automatically be updated on the website. The time limit for sending and handling shall comply with the regulations of each unit.

Regarding written responses, a delivery unit shall receive and send responses within a working day or at the beginning of the next working day to the receiving unit and post these responses to the website of the General Department of Taxation.

Taxpayers cans search for information on the General Department of Taxation’s website at the link http://www.gdt.gov.vn and click criteria to search documents including tax agency, incoming document number and incoming date, and then click the button “search”, and the result shall be displayed.

The General Department of Taxation also requests heads of tax agencies deploy the document management program operate and take charge of directing the posting of written questions and responses to its website. IT units at Tax agencies must ensure the technical conditions, transmission, and software for publication.
