SSC's Chairwoman appointed

The appointment ceremony was attended by leaders of SSC and the Ministry of Finance.
Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc awarded the appointment decision and congratulated Mrs Vu Thi Chan Phuong for being appointed SSC's Chairwoman from January 9, 2023.
The Minister said that the ministry's leaders reviewed and reported the personnel appointment process to the Prime Minister following the regulations of the Party, the State and the Ministry of Finance.
The Ministry of Finance issued Decision No.18/2023/QD-BTC appointing Mrs Vu Thi Chan Phuong as SSC's Chairwoman from January 9, 2023.
"Although the Securities sector has been established for more than 26 years, it has achieved remarkable achievement associated with the development of Vietnam's stock market and affirmed its role as an effective medium and long-term capital mobilization channel for the economy and businesses, contributing to the overall development of the country's economy," said Minister Ho Duc Phoc.
For difficulties that the sector has suffered over time, the Minister said this was an important experience that the sector needs to overcome and improve institutional and legal development and administration.
At the appointment ceremony, Minister Ho Duc Phoc said that after 26 years, Vietnam's stock market had affirmed its role as an effective medium and long-term capital mobilization channel for the economy and businesses.
Mrs Vu Thi Chan Phuong has a master's degree in economics and has held positions for over 24 years of working in the Securities sector.
The Minister directed the Securities sector to make more efforts, striving to realize the motto: "Unity - Proactive - Innovation - Drastic - Effectiveness".
Mrs Vu Thi Chan Phuong promised to strive to accomplish her tasks in the new position.
