VCN – A car which transported 2,500 packs of smuggled cigarettes, has been arrested by Integrated Control Station Pier Km15 – Dan Tien port (Quang Ninh province).

According to the Integrated Control Station Pier Km15-Dan Tien, at 6 PM on 8^th October, 2016 the inter-agency Task Force under Control Station including: Customs, Police, Border Guards, and Market Management inspected a car with number: 99C-03 158 driven by Nguyen Gia Hung, born in 1989 (residing in Yen Phong district, Bac Ninh) transporting 2,500 cigarette packs 555 BLEND NO GOLD currently of unknown origin.

Deeming the incident with signs of criminal offense thet need to be investigated, the Integrated Control Station Pier Km15-Dan Tien port proposed to transfer all records and proof, vehicles and objects of infringement to the investigation police agency, Mong Cai police for their jurisdiction.

Earlier, in April 2016, the Integrated Control Station Pier Km15-Dan Tien port (Quang Ninh province) arrested all the perpetrators while they were transporting 69,000 packs of smuggled cigarettes from ships brought ashore.
