Secretariat inspects implementation of Resolution of the 12th Central Party Committee’s 4th Plenum at Ministry of Finance

VCN - On the morning of December 7, the Inspection team 142 of the Secretariat, led by Mr. Le Minh Khai, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Prime Minister had a working session with the Party Committee of the Ministry of Finance on the implementation of the Resolution of the 12th Central Party Committee’s 4th Plenum and Regulation 08-QDi/TW of the Central Committee defining the responsibility of cadres and Party members for setting examples.

On the side of the Ministry of Finance, Mr.Ho Duc Phoc, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Personnel Committee, the Minister of Finance and comrades who are members of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Finance attended the session.

Based on a report on self-inspection of the Party l Committee of the Ministry of Finance, Inspection Team 142 has developed a draft inspection report. The session aimed to exchange and gather comments on the draft report on the results of the inspection team.

Speaking at the opening of the session, Mr. Le Minh Khai said that the Ministry of Finance has always paid attention to Party building work to improve the Party's strength and clean up the contingent of Party members to lead the country and develop the country in association with the implementation of the Resolution of the 12th Central Party Committee’s 4th Plenum and Regulation 08-QDi/TW defining the responsibility of cadres and Party members for setting examples.

Mr. Le Minh Khai said that from the beginning of his term, from the actual situation, the Secretariat has established five inspection teams to inspect the implementation of the Resolution and Regulation 08-QDi/TW in a number of ministries, government agencies Provincial Party Committees and City Party Committees to prevent and repel degradation in morality, lifestyle, and internal transformation. Among these five teams, team 142 is in charge of inspecting the Ministry of Finance.

This is a regular inspection by the Party for the ministry’s Party committees and provincial and municipal Party committees, thereby assessing the performance in leading and directing the implementation of the Resolution of the 4th Party Central Committee and Regulation 08-QDi/TW in order to propose solutions and mechanisms to facilitate replication of good models and practices of Party committees.
