Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee has recently sent a written proposal to the Prime Minister on removing difficulties for automobile manufacturers. Inthe proposal of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh assigned the Ministry of Finance to assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with relevant agencies in, reviewing and evaluating the recent implementation of the tax incentive program for automobile manufacturing and assembly (Tax incentive program) specified in Clause 3, Article 2 of Decree No. 57/2020 of the Government dated May 25, 2020 of the Government amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Government's Decree No. 122/2016 of the Government dated September 1, 2016 on Export Tariff, Preferential Import Tariff, List of goods and flat tax rates, compound tax, and import tax outside tariff quotas and Decree No. 125/2017 of the Government dated November 16, 2017 amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 122/2016. The Deputy Prime Minister requested this agency to study and propose contents that need to be amended and supplemented, including considering the possibility of further extending the Tax Incentive Program for the next period (after 2022), to report to the Prime Minister.
