Nearly 7,800 tonnes of pork imported via Hai Phong port

From the beginning of 2019 to the end of December 2019, Hai Phong Customs Department has carried out import procedures for nearly 90,000 tonnes of pork, chicken and beef.

In particular, chicken meat has the largest quantity with 68,907 tonnes; followed by beef and buffalo with 17,015 tonnes; pork was 7,791 tonnes.

Regarding import and export activities at Hai Phong Customs Department, in November, the export turnover value at the unit reached $3,405 billion, increasing by 28.2 percent over the same period in 2018, decreasing by 7.6 percent over last month. Of that, export turnover reached $9.8 million, decreasing by 0.5 percent over the same period in 2018, decreasing by 21.9% over the previous month.

Import turnover reached $3,689 million, decreasing by 5.1 percent over the same period in 2018, decreasing by 6.5 percent compared to the previous month. Of that, import turnover reached $1,574 billion, decreasing by 12.2 percent over the same period in 2018, decreasing by 2 percent over last month.

By the end of November, the total import-export turnover at Hai Phong Customs reached about $72,826 billion.

In particular, export turnover reached $32.91 billion, particularly export turnover with tax reached $137 million; import turnover reached $39,916 billion, with $17,546 billion of import turnover with tax.
