NA leader to attend IPU-137 in Russia, visit Kazakhstan

National Assembly (NA) Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan will attend the 137th Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly and related meetings in Russia from October 14-15 and make an official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan from October 16-18.

Her participation in the 137th IPU Assembly and related meeting is made at the invitation of IPU President Saber Chowdhury, Chairwoman of the Federation Council of Russia Valentina Ivanovna Matviyenko, and Chairman of the State Duma of Russia Vyacheslav Volodin.

The top legislator will later visit Kazakhstan at the invitation of Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym Zhomart Tokayev, and Chairman of the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Nigmatulin.

The events are part of this year's external activities of the Vietnam National Assembly.
