National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan meets Honorary Consul General of Vietnam in Busan-Gyeongnam region Park Soo-kwan
The top Vietnamese legislator said her ongoing official visit to the RoK is designed to continue deepening the bilateral strategic partnership in multiple fields for the benefits of the two peoples.

She said that as a matter of fact there are a lot of Vietnamese labourers and Vietnam-Korea multicultural families in Busan. Ngan said she hopes that the Honorary Consul General will help intensify people-to-people exchanges, protect legitimate interests of Vietnamese citizens living in the city, particularly Vietnamese women who get married to Korean men, along with his greater efforts to step up bilateral cooperation in economics, trade, investment, tourism and education.
Park Soo, in turn, said that the Busan-Gyeongnam region has over 300 enterprises investing in Vietnam and the figure is becoming higher.
However, direct air routes connecting Busan and Ho Chi Minh City and the two nations are yet to meet their growing travel demand the two peoples, he noted.
Sharing the view, the NA leader underlined the need to increase flights between the two sides, while showing her elation at the RoK’s decision to grant multiple entry visas valid for up to five years to Vietnamese citizens living in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and central Da Nang city.
Praising the success of Vietnam's football squad under the guidance of head coach of Park Hang-seo, Park Soo Kwan voiced his hope that the national football team will continue to notch up a victory against the Philippines in the second leg of the ASEAN Federation Football (AFF) Suzuki Cup 2018 semifinals slated for December 6 in Hanoi.
