More than 26,000 units using online public services at State Treasury of provinces and cities

VCN –  The State Treasury is accelerating the application of information technology to the operation process of online public services in order to facilitate customers.

According to the State Treasury, as of January 31, 2020, there were 26,292 of 28,089 units using the state budget with the State Treasury of provinces and cities directly under the Government and the State Treasury of cities, districts, towns under provincial and cities directly involved in public services, accounting for 94 percent.

For units conducting transactions at the State Treasury at the district level, there were 29,078 of 68,893 units using public services, accounting for 57 percent.

In the future, the State Treasury would enhance the application of information technology in professional operations, continue deploying online public services at all units using state budget to conduct transactions with the State Treasury at district-level (except for cash transactions according to the prescribed regime and transactions of units under the security and defense sector).

The State Treasury also continues to promote the application of warnings in the control of state budget expenditure; upgrade the hiring of capital investment control services associated with the application of general reports on investment capital.

At the same time, researching to develop information technology of the State Treasury to connect, exchange information and share data between the State Treasury, the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Finance and other ministries and sectors in order to meet the requirements of effective management of public investment capital of ministries, sectors and localities. Besides that, the State Treasury will coordinate with the relevant units to build a scheme on record preservation on online public services.
