VCN - Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh, Director of the National Steering Committee of anti-smuggling, trade Fraud and counterfeiting (National Steering Committee 389) issued a decision to amend and supplement the list of members of the National Steering Committee 389 issued together with Decision No. 08/QD-BCĐ389 dated January 18, 2021.

Specifically, Ho Duc Phoc, Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Finance, is Deputy Director of the Permanent Committee.

Nguyen Hong Dien, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Industry and Trade is the Deputy Director of the Committee.

According to Decision 08/QD-BCĐ389, the National Steering Committee 389 operates regularly through activities of the members, the Permanent Office and Agency of the National Steering Committee 389; based on the clear assignment of duties, upholding the personal responsibility of the Director, Deputy Directors and members.

Members of the National Steering Committee 389 are accountable to the Director of the Committee for prevention of smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeiting in the management and assigned fields of their ministries and sectors as well as tasks assigned by the Director of the Committee.

The Ministry of Finance is a permanent agency of the National Steering Committee 389 and is responsible for directing its functional units to coordinate with the Permanent Office to study and propose to develop mechanisms and policies related to the work of the Steering Committee. At the same time, ensuring conditions for operation of the Steering Committee and the Permanent Office; working with relevant agencies in formulating and implementing specialised projects and plans to combat smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods for key commodities, key areas or in each period when assigned by Director and Deputy Director of the Permanent Committee.
