Lang Son seized over 5,500 smuggled food products
Accordingly, on the morning of July 7, in Dong Mo town, Chi Lang district, Market Surveillance Team No. 4 discovered a truck BKS 12C-024.24, driven by Mr. Nguyen Trong Huu residing in Huu Lung district while the driver is stopping the truck to offer products to some confectionery stores.

Realizing suspicious expressions, the market surveillance force conducted an inspection of the truck. Through inspection, the officials discovered on the trunk of the truck over 5,500 food products including chicken wings in vacuum bags, chicken feet in vacuum bags; fried bean curd (180g/pack); car-shaped candy (660g/box); Animal-shaped Jelly (570g/box); jelly packed in a plastic box (type 40 pieces/box); lollipops in plastic boxes (200g/box); chewing gum in plastic bottles (350g/bottle); fruit juices in plastic bottles (55 ml/bottle) and children's toys of all kinds.

Working with the authorities, Mr. Nguyen Trong Huu confessed that he is the owner of all goods and the goods originated from China. However, Mr. Huu could not present any invoices or documents related to the above items.
Currently, the market management agency has seized all goods.
