This is also Vietnam’s largest import group from the United States with the largest increase of more than US$ 700 million (equivalent to 48.4%) compared to the first six months of 2018.
The second largest import group from the United States is vegetables and fruits.
In the first six months, import turnover of this group reached US$ 116.4 million, up by 70% compared to the same period last year.
Currently, most of Vietnam’s key import groups reported and published by the General Department of Customs originate from the United States.
