Imported cars allowed to be brought to storage while waiting for quality certificate
VCN – The General Department of Vietnam Customs has instructed local customs departments to allow auto importers to bring imported cars that have not been used for storage at the request of these importers.

For imported unused cars, if the quality inspection application states the quality inspection site at the port and the registration agency has completed inspection procedures at the port, the customs branch will allow the importer to take the imported cars to storage while waiting for the certificate of quality, technical safety and environmental protection upon the importer's request.
Earlier, some auto importers raised problems related to bringing cars for storage. To solve this problem, the General Department of Vietnam Customs directed local customs departments and branches to perform in a unified manner.
