Hai Phong Customs handled nearly 160,000declarations in July

VCN- In July, the total declarations of Hai Phong Customs Department was 159,182. Of which, there were 93,053 import declarations and 66,129 export declarations.

Among the 9 sub-departments under Hai Phong Customs Department, the Customs Department of Processing Investmenthas the highest number with 36,093 declarations, while the Hai Phong Customs Department in Region III has the least with 4,958 declarations.

In July, total import and export turnover of Hai Phong Customs Department reached about 6.83 billion USD, up 10% compared to the same period in 2018. In particular, export turnover reached 3.146 billion USD, up 17.7% over the same period in 2018.

Particularly, export turnover with tax reached 13 million USD, down 1.6%.

Import turnover reached 3.683 billion USD, up 4.2% compared to the same period in 2018. Particularly, import turnover with tax reached USD 1.617 million, up 10.4%.

Notably, import turnover with tax on automotive spare parts, petroleum, cosmetics, machinery and equipment increased sharply compared to the same period in 2018.

Specifically, automotive parts and accessories reached 15.88 million USD, up 51%; petroleum reached 41 million USD, increased 46.3%; cosmetics reached 0.26 million USD, up 55.4%; machinery and equipment reached 461 million USD, up 16.1%.

Thanks to the increasing import tax, the budget revenue of Hai Phong Customs Department has achieved positive results.

By the end of July, the total revenue of the Department was VND 40,846 billion, reaching 85.96% compared to the target assigned by the Ministry of Finance (VND 47,520 billion), and 76.21% compared to the target of the General Department of Customs (VND 53,600 billion) ), increased by 47.25% over the same period in 2018.
