Hai Phong Customs completes cargo clearance for nearly 170,000 declarations in November

In November, Hai Phong Customs Department completed cargo clearance for 169,024 declarations, up 7.97% over the same period in 2019, and up 1.25% over the previous month. In particular, there were 95,115 import declarations and 73,909 export declarations.
The unit with the largest number of declarations in the month was the Export Processing Zone & Industrial Park Customs Branch with 41,277 declarations, the branch with the least declarations was Hai Phong port area 1 Customs Branch with 4,640 declarations.
In November, at Hai Phong Customs Department, 51.4% of the declarations were in the green channel, 44.1% of the declaration in the yellow channel; while the red channel was 3.5%.
However, if considering four border-gate customs branches, the ratio of Yellow and Red channels is up to 84% (equivalent to 23,112 declarations).
In November, Hai Phong Customs processed procedures for goods worth nearly $8 billion.
In particular, exports reached $3,892 billion, up 14.5% over the same period in 2019. Of that, turnover with tax reached $23.79 million, up 142.4% over the same period in 2019.
Import turnover reached $4,072 billion, up 8.8% over the same period in 2019. In particular, turnover with tax reached $1,454 billion, down 10.6% over the same period in 2019.
Revenue collection of the unit in month reached VND5,347 billion – one of the months with the highest revenue in the unit since the beginning of the year.
By the end of November, Hai Phong Customs Department had collected VND50,045 billion, reaching 74.7% of the target assigned by the Ministry of Finance, reaching 70.5% of the target assigned by the General Department of Vietnam Customs, down 20.95% over the same period in 2019.
