The perpetrators and synthetic drug tablets

On September 21st, 2018, at Cau Treo border gate, Cau Treo International Border Gate Customs Branch coordinated with the border guard to inspect a HYUNDAI truck (tonnage of 1.5 tons) with Laos control plate (UN - 3979) driven by Bui Van Dung, born in 1974, residing in Thanh Mai, Thanh Chuong, Nghe An.

Through the inspection, the working team found a milk box containing 3 nylon bags of 566 synthetic drug tablets. Continuing the inspection, the team seized 8 tablets which were hidden inside Dung’s body.

At the head office of the competent authorities, the perpetrator Bui Van Dung confessed that he bought the above drugs for use and was hired to carry them by a Lao man to get VND 2 million.
