Ha Noi: Many big enterprises delay tax debt payment

In this list, there are 12 enterprises owing tax, fees and land use fee debts with total tax debts amounting to over VND 546 billion, and 16 enterprises with land use fee debts of over VND 1,229 billion. The Department has applied coercive measures in accordance with regulations (such as deducting from account, notifying invalid invoices) but these enterprises have not yet fully paid tax debts to the State budget.
Notably, the enterprises that have delayed paying land use fees in the list are companies such as: Lung Lo 5 Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (debts of nearly VND 342.5 billion); Hoang Ha Construction Company Limited (debt of more than VND 158 billion); CT Vietnam International Joint Stock Company (debt of VND 121.7 billion); World Gems Company Limited (debt of VND 113.5 billion).
The list of enterprises delaying in paying tax debt includes companies such as: Lilama Hanoi Joint Stock Company (over VND 111 billion); Vietnam Electronics and Industrial Corporation (VND over 80 billion); Viglacera Engineering and Construction Joint Stock Company (over VND 60 billion).
Especially, there are 189 tax and fee debtors in the list, which were publicized from 2015 to 2017, but so far their tax debts are still very large.
Specifically, Grocery Export and Import Joint Stock Company (debt of over VND 87 billion); Foundation Engineering and Construction 20 Joint Stock Company (debt of nearly VND 66.7 billion); PVV Industrial Civil Construction Joint Stock Company (debt of over VND 22.6 billion); CIMB-Vinashin Securities Limited Liability Company (debt of VND 17.5 billion); Bach Dang 10 Joint Stock Company (debt of VND 17 billion).

Hanoi Tax Department said that from the beginning of 2018 to now, the Department has posted on its website 690 enterprises owing tax debts and fees, and other amounts related to land, with a total amount of nearly VND 1,475 billion. After the publicity, 198 enterprises and projects submitted more than VND 47.5 billion.
With the efforts of drastic measures taken by the Tax authorities and the recovery of the economy, the Hanoi Tax Department recommends that the project management companies and enterprises arrange the financial resources to pay tax debts to the State budget before the Tax authorities apply more drastic measures.
