From 1/1/2019, vehicles transporting through Chi Ma – Ai Diem border, goods will be unloaded on the side of the opposite country

VCN – That was the directive of People’s Committee of Lang Son province in the document No. 1204/UBND-KTTH on the management and operation of means of transportation of import-export goods through Chi Ma - Ai Diem border gate.

Accordingly, as of 1/1/2019, means of transport of import-export goods going through Chi Ma - Ai Diem border gate will go to the yard of the opposite country in order to unload goods, and after that go back without goods.

For vehicles transporting export goods to the border or goods of border residents in any side, they will stop at the yards for unloading goods; vehicles of the opposite country will come to pick up goods.

The People’s Committee of Lang Son Provincial has assigned the Management Committee of Economic Zone of Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate, People 's Committee of Loc Binh District, in agreement with People' s Committee of Ninh Minh district, Management Committee of Economic Zone of Ai Diem Border Gate, to understand the policy of Lang Son province and implementation of the "Cross-border labor management cooperation mechanism" on the basis of the agreement signed between the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Lang Son province and the authorities of Sung Ta city in order to ensure benefits of laborers in each party in accordance with current law.

The People's Committee of Lang Son Provincial instructed the relevant authorities to carry out the operation activities as mentioned above from 1/1/2019.
