Deputy Minister of Finance Tran Xuan Ha stated at the conference

According to the report from Ha Noi Customs Department, in the first six months of 2018, Ha Noi Tax Department collected VND 110,150 billion. This revenue reached 50.5% of the ordinance estimate, increasing by 19.2% compared to the same period in 2017. In which, the tax revenue from production and business activities increased relatively compared to previous years. The result from Ha Noi Tax Department’s revenue collection has contributed to the overall results for the country and Ha Noi City.

According to the leader of Ha Noi Tax Department, in order to achieve the result, the Department has actively deployed diversified propaganda forms, together with the effective operation of the “Single Window” units at Tax authorities at all levels, which has contributed to improving the awareness of tax compliance and facilitates taxpayers in fulfilling tax obligations to the State.

Performing the management tasks, the Ha Noi Tax Department has focused on accelerating tax administrative procedures reform, and strongly applied information technology in all stages of tax administration, with the e-declaration always reaching over 98%; E-tax payment reaching over 95%.

Over the past time, the Department has continuously promoted the inspection in e-form for the identification of tax dossier risks at the Tax office headquarters. 100% of enterprises have been analyzed for risks before inspection decisions being issued; Focused on the inspection of tax payers with high tax risks, enterprises with acts of tax evasion, trade fraud, production and price transfer.

Also, Ha Noi Tax Department said that the tax debt management and enforcement is considered as the key task and a great challenge. In the first six months of 2018, the Department has issued 9,719 decisions on debt coercion to deduct from accounts for 7,700 tax debt enterprises with a tax debt amount of VND 2,589 billion; issued decisions on debt coercion by notification of invalid invoice for 3,409 tax payers with tax debt amount of VND 2,299 billion.

At the conference, the reports of Tax branches’ divisions and district government agencies have raised situations, advantages and difficulties and strictly evaluated and recognized shortcomings and deficiencies that need to be removed, and provided solutions to successfully accomplish the revenue collection task 2018.
