Exporting computer to China increase growth by 102%

VCN - $US 2.278 billion is the value of export turnover of computers, electronic products, and components that exported to China by the end of May 2017, according to the latest information from the General Department of Customs.

As this result, these commodities are generated a strong growth of 102% over the same period of 2016, equivalent to an increase of $US 1.15 billion. This is also the largest export commodity of our country into the Chinese market.

According to the information of Customs News, the main export product in this category is the tablet of Samsung Group (currently has factories in Bac Ninh and Thai Nguyen). Besides that, fruits and vegetables also created impressive growth in recent months

By the end of May, vegetable reached $US 1.056 billion, rose by 50.6% over the same period of 2016. And this is the second "billion dollar" commodity of our country that exported to China till the end of May 2017. This strong growth of the above two groups helps the total export turnover of our country to China reached $US 10.629 billion, increased by 42% over the same period of 2016.

Despite the strong rise of export activities, the totality of foreign trade relations with China, our country is still suffering a large deficit. By the end of May, the country's trade deficit with China increased up to $US 11.5 billion.
