Export turnover of computer, electronic products and components reaches over US$ 55 billion

VCN – As of October 15, the export turnover of computers, electronic products and components earned US$ 55.3 billion, the General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC) reports.

The export turnover of computers, electronic products and components increased by 26.7% year-on-year (equivalent to an increase of US$11.67 billion).

With the above results, computers, electronic products and components continue to maintain their position as the largest export group of Vietnam and achieve higher turnover than other commodity groups.

For example, the export turnover of computers, electronic products and components is US$ 11.35 billion higher than the turnover of phones and components.

This group alone accounts for 17.5% of the country's export turnover.

The export markets for computers, electronic products and components are diverse.

Major markets with high export turnover include the US at US$17.32 billion (updated by the General Department of Customs at the end of September), up 46.5% year-on-year; China at US$ 9.10 billion, down 8.9%; EU at US$ 6.86 billion, up 55.9%; Hong Kong (China) at US$ 6.13 billion, up 68.7%; South Korea at US$ 4.03 billion, up 13%...

As of October 15, the total turnover increased by 15.3% to US$ 315.91 billion year-on-year.
