Accordingly, the deployment of receipt and handling of e-declaration dossier for VAT and Personal income tax of individuals with assets for lease and under the management of Tax authorities in 63 provinces and centrally run cities follows the roadmap enclosed with Decision 2128/2016QD-BTC dated 4th October 2016 of the Minister of Finance on the pilot application of e-declaration for VAT and Personal Income Tax of individuals with house for lease.

The deployment has been applied since 1st January 2018. Especially, since January 2018, continuing and expanding the deployment at 32 provinces and cities, including: Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh city, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Đa Nang, Phu Tho, Bac Ninh, Lao Cai, Đien Bien, Hoa Binh, Lai Chau, Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Ha Giang, Bac Can, Cao Bang, Lang Son, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Yen Bai, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Đinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Lam Đong, Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Đak Lak, Đak Nong.

Then, by May 2018, the deployment will be expanded in 31 provinces and cities, including Tuyen Quang, Ha Nam, Hai Phong, Nam Đinh, Ninh Binh, Thai Binh, Vinh Phuc, Quang Ninh, Son La, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Đong Nai, Binh Phuoc, Binh Duong, Can Tho, Tay Ninh, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, Long An, Đong Thap, Tien Giang, An Giang, Ben Tre, Vinh Long, Tra Vinh, Hau Giang, Kien Giang, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau.

The Ministry of Finance has assigned the General Department of Taxation to fully prepare the technical conditions for e-tax declaration. At the same time, instructing the Tax authorities and tax payers to register an e-Tax payment account to ensure the safety and confidentiality of information. The Ministry has also requested the Tax authorities to support and remove obstacles for Taxpayers in the process of carrying out e-tax declaration.
