Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh will be Director of the National Steering Committee for Combating Smuggling, Commercial Fraud and Counterfeit Goods (National Steering Committee 389).
The Prime Minister assigned Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Government Party Committee on behalf of the Prime Minister to follow up and direct in the following fields: institutional building, building a socialist rule of law state, judicial reform; diplomacy and foreign relations; crime Prevention; anti-smuggling and commercial frau
Besides other tasks, Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh also perform tasks as Director of the National Steering Committee on international integration; Chairman of the Steering Committee for Trade Cooperation between Vietnam and China; Chairman of the Steering Committee for Trade Cooperation between Vietnam and Laos; Director of the Steering Committee on Human Rights; Director of National Steering Committee for Combating Smuggling, Commercial Fraud and Counterfeit Goods.
Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh is the third Government leader to in charge of Director of the National Steering Committees389, before that, Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh (now retired) and Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc (now the President of Vietnam) has also taken on this role.
Decision No. 1460/QD-TTg takes effect from the date of signing.
