Customs implemented procedures for 8.86 million declarations in 9 months

Total import and export value of goods in the first 9 months of 2018 reached $US 352.34 billion, increased by 13.6% over the same period in 2017, in that export value reached $US 179.36 billion, increased by 15.7% and import value reached $US 172.98 billion, increased by 11.5%.
Thus, the trade balance of goods in Vietnam in the first 9 months of 2018 reached a trade surplus of $US 6.38 billion, an increase of double the trade surplus rate in the same period of 2017.
Vietnam's trade balance in September of 2018 is estimated at a surplus of $US 700 million. Through that, it raises Vietnam's surplus in the first nine months of 2018 to $US 5.39 billion.
The export growth rate for the first nine months of 2018 achieved this result is mainly due to the increase in the import of electronics, electronic products, telephone and spare parts (reached $US 36.13 billion); machinery, equipment, equipment & spare parts reached $US 12.1 billion; textiles and garments worth $US 22.56 billion. The imports increased in the categories: computers, electronic products & components to $US 31.09 billion; petroleum reached 9.33 million tons, valued at $US 6.24 billion…
Moreover, in the work of supervision and inspection, the Customs authorities have carried out the channel classification and decided to inspect for 8,315,908 declarations of export and import goods, in that: green channel was 4,929,958 declarations (accounting for 59.28%), yellow channel was 2,956,092 declarations (accounting for 35.55%), red channel was 429,858 declarations (5.17%). According to the inspection results, 13,505 violation dossiers were made; the number of violated declarations was 16,792 declarations, the number of organizations and individuals in violation was 13,324 declarations.
