Cosmetics, clothing products illegally imported in great quantity in Lang Son area
On December 7, the Chi Lang Market Management force conducted a physical inspection of a car driven by Mong Van Nam (living in group 6, block 1, Cao Loc town, Cao Loc district, Lang Son province) and stopped at the parking lot at the Hoa Hoi display area in Nhan Ly commune, Chi Lang district because it showed signs of illegally transporting goods.
The forces found that the car was transporting six types of goods, including men's jackets, school backpacks, shoes, sweaters, socks and children's clothes with a quantity of more than 1,665 units. All of the goods originated from outside Vietnam.

Mong Van Nam presented sales invoices to competent forces and the value of goods sold on the invoice was more than VND 25 million. Through comparison, the competent force found the quantity and type of goods were suitable, not detected excess goods compared to the invoice. However, during the verification process and working with drivers and buyers, competent forces said the goods were not clear about the origin, so vehicles and goods were temporarily seized to continue to verify, clarify and handle in accordance with regulations.
On December 2, the market management force of Lang Son inspected a truck with license plate 12C-082.56, controlled by driver Nong Van Doan, living in Bao Lam commune, Cao Loc district, Lang Son province while it was transporting a large amount of goods including clothes of all kinds, women's sandals and household appliances. Although it matched the information on tue sales invoices when comparing, they realised the goods might be contraband, so the competent force conducted verification for business household of Nguyen Thanh Tuan located in Kho Da village, Tan My commune, Van Lang district, Lang Son province. As a result, Tuan bought the above goods together and legalised them by using an invoice and sold them to the market.
To handle this violation, competent forces decided to sanction Nguyen Thanh Tuan VND 10 million and forced him to return the illegal benefits of more than VND 24 million.
A day later (December 3), the competent force seized 432 Peinifen lipsticks (made in China) that were being transported in a passenger car on the route of Lang Son - Thai Nguyen driven by Pham Ba Hieu residing in Vinh Thuan, Bac Son town, Bac Son district, Lang Son province.
Working with authorities, Hieu could not present invoices and documents proving the origin of the import goods. Hieu confessed that he bought the cosmetics in the area of Dong Dang town, Cao Loc district from some unfamiliar people and brought them back to sell for profit.
