Cao Bang Customs processes procedure for 146 automobiles imported from China

According to Cao Bang Customs Department, in January 2023, the number of imported CBUs carrying out procedures at the unit was 146 units, with a total turnover of US$5.1 million and an average value (excluding tax) of nearly US$35,000/car.

The CBU car carrying out customs procedures at Cao Bang Customs Department is a truck imported from China. This group of commodities has arisen recently, contributing mainly to the state revenue of Cao Bang Customs, especially in 2022.

In 2022, the Department performed a procedure for 10,855 units with a total turnover of nearly US$487 million. The average value (excluding tax) is nearly US$45,000/car. Therefore, the total tax on imported automobiles in 2022 will reach about VND 2,330 billion.

Regarding the import-export situation at Cao Bang Customs, in January 2023, the import-export turnover achieved US$19.38, an increase of 30% over the same period last year.

Notably, export activities have prospered with a growth of 38%. As a result, turnover reached US$ 9.36 million. The main export items are cashew nuts; metals and products; seafood; vegetables and fruits; wood and wood products.
