Budget collection of Tax is estimated at over 163 trillion vnd in 2 months

VCN - In the first two months of 2017, revenue collection of the Taxation sector is estimated at 163,127 billion vnd. This revenue is equal to 16.8% of the draft ordinance and equal to 108.8% compared to the same period in 2016.

According to data of the General Department of Taxation, in February 2017, revenue was estimated at 63,500 billion vnd in that revenue from crude oil was estimated at 3,900 billion vnd (equal to 10.2% of the estimate and equal to 127.8% for the same period last year); Domestic revenue was estimated at 59,600 billion vnd (equal to 6.4% of the estimate and 109% of the same period last year); Domestic revenues excluding land use fees, profit dividends and lottery receipts were estimated at 50,400 billion vnd (equal to 6.4% of the estimate and 109.3% of the same period last year).

Thus, the cumulative revenue in the first two months of 2017 is estimated at 163,127 billion vnd.

Notably, central budget was estimated at 71.670 trillion vnd, equal to 14.7% of the estimate and 122.3% of the same period last year. According to the General Department of Taxation, although the growth rate is quite good, the progress of central budget collection is still low compared to local budget revenue (local budget revenue reached 91.457 billion vnd and 19% of the estimate).

Statistics of the General Department of Taxation also showed that there are 6 out of 17 revenues where, tax rose slightly (18%) and 13 out of 17 revenues and taxes grown over the same period.

7 out of 17 revenues and taxes achieved low rate (less than 16%) from estimates as State-owned enterprises; environmental protection tax; fixed collection in the commune; Non-agricultural land use tax ... There are 4 out of 17 tax receipts, was lower than the same period last year.

In addition, 27 out of 63 localities had a relatively good (over 18%) estimate; 8 of 63 localities achieved the average level (16-17%) of estimation and 47 of 63 localities had growth over the same period.

According to the General Department of Taxation, in order to obtain such revenue, in February 2017, the Tax branch has carried out the work related to upgrading and improving the centralized tax management system TMS, Having regard to the professional regulation on tax declaration, payment and tax accounting, etc.

Besides that, the Taxation sector continues to pilot the receipt of dossiers and return results of electronic value added tax rebates at 13 provincial tax departments. Direct and guide Tax Departments in the provinces and cities that have questions related to the value added tax reimbursement in the transitional period of Law No. 106/2016/QH13, and supplement the value added tax refund on the tax declaration dossier.

Until now, the Taxation sector is continuing to implement solutions in order to improve Vietnam's ranking on tax payment norms, promulgating the action plan for administration reform, to disseminate legal education and legal support to enterprises in 2017. At the same time, coordinating with related departments to reform the administrative system and create maximum conditions for taxpayers.
