88% of enterprises in Ha Noi use e-invoice

According to Ha Noi Tax Department, currently, the Government determines to boost economic development and smart governance on the basis of the fourth industrial revolution, e-commerce, e-transactions, and e-business administration; promote convenience and efficiency, reduce costs and administrative procedures for enterprises, contributing to enhancing publicity and transparency in business administration. Accordingly, e-invoice has become an inevitable trendin production and business activities between enterprises.
Following the direction of the Government, the Ministry of Finance, the General Department of Taxation and Hanoi People's Committee on performing tasks in 2020 and striving to reach 100% of enterprises applying e-invoice, Ha Noi Tax Department has synchronously publicized, supported and instructed enterprises to apply e-invoices from 2019, and strived to fulfill this target before September 30.
As a result, by mid-August, 123,477 enterprises and organizations have registered to apply e-invoices, reaching nearly 88% of enterprises and organizations doing business in the whole city.
To fulfill the goal of accompanying, supporting and encouraging 18,000 enterprises (about 12%) in the city to deploy e-invoices before September 30, 2020, the Hanoi Tax Department has regularly directed tax divisions and branches to deploy e-invoicesfor organizations and enterprises in the locality.
The department has actively coordinated with e-invoice suppliers to support enterprises in the registration and use of e-invoices.
At the same time, it has grasped problems and supported enterprises in applying e-invoices at the tax authority’s one-stop-shop and through phone numbers and emails.
