3 vehicles carrying coal without lawful papers

On September 9th,2016 after receiving information from people about 3 vehicles, including: 2 container trucks and 1 heavy truck, transporting coal dust without alegal certificate of origin, Customs Control Team No. 2 in collaboration with the Special Task Force DB113 (General Police Department - Ministry of Public Security) implemented the necessary professional methods to inspect and handle the situation.

On the same day, in the area of North Ring road (Vu Oai commune, Hoanh Bo district, QuangNinh province), the coordinated force approached 3 cars to inspect simultaneously.

Specifically, a container truck with the registration number 15C- 214.46 (numberplate of trailer: 15R – 112.22) driven by Pham Quoc Van, born in 1983 (Cam La, Kim Thanh, Hai Duong), was transporting 30 tons of coal dust, valued at approximately 30 million VND.

Acontainer truck with the registration number 34C- 090.77 (numberplate of trailer: 16R – 4068) driven by Nguyen Thanh Tung, born in 1988 (Minh Tan, Luong Tai, BacNinh), was transporting 25 tons of coal cobbles, valued at approximately 50 million VND.

A HUYNDAI truck with the registration number 14C- 077.12 driven by Nguyen Van Duong, born in 1985 (Yen Tho, Dong Trieu, QuangNinh), was transporting 30 tons of coal, valued at approximately 50 million VND.

At the time of inspection, the drivers failed to produce any legal documents. The coal was being transported from Km6, Cam Pha city to Hoanh Bo (QuangNinh), Kinh Mon (Hai Duong) and Dinh Vu (HaiPhong).

The coordinated force demanded that the drivers drive the vehicles and illegal goods to the base of Customs Department of QuangNinhto continue to handle the violations as prescribed.
